Availability and age requirement
Synivis is currently available only through participating high schools and is intended for students age 13 or older. Participating schools must not provide Synivis access to a student under age 13 without first coordinating with Praxobyte.
Student access
New students activate Synivis with a class join code provided by a participating teacher or school. Synivis then generates a support ID and recovery code for the student. Keep the recovery code in a secure place; it is used to restore student access on another device or after signing out.
Returning students
On the Welcome to Synivis screen, enter the recovery code under Returning Student and select Restore Student Access.
If a recovery code is unavailable or no longer works, use the Praxobyte contact form and include the student Support ID, school, and class if known. Do not include a recovery code in the initial message.
Teacher access
Teacher access is provisioned by a participating school or Synivis administrator. Teachers activate the teacher dashboard with the issued teacher access code and may work only with assigned classes.
For access changes, class-assignment issues, or account removal, contact the participating school or use the Praxobyte contact form.
Notifications
Synivis may send notifications for assignments, announcements, exams, and shoutouts. Notification delivery depends on device settings, network availability, and Apple or Google notification services.
Notification permissions can be changed in the device settings at any time.
Student data deletion
Students can permanently delete their Synivis student identity and associated data from the app. Open Account and Data, select Delete Synivis Data, and confirm with the current recovery code.
For complete instructions or an external deletion request, visit the Synivis Data Deletion page.
Contact support
Use the Praxobyte contact form for Synivis support. Include the Support ID and a clear description of the issue. Do not send passwords, Teacher API keys, push notification tokens, or a student recovery code unless the support team specifically requests it through a verified support exchange.
