Acceptance
These terms and the acceptable use policy apply to teachers who create or update classroom content in Synivis. Acceptance of the current version is required before creating or updating assignments, announcements, exams, resources, shoutouts, or other teacher-created classroom content.
By selecting I Agree in Synivis, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and that classroom content you create or update through your teacher account will comply with them.
1. Educational and authorized use
You will use Synivis only for legitimate school, classroom, instructional, or student-support purposes and in accordance with the policies of your school or district.
2. Appropriate content
You will not create, upload, link to, or distribute content that is threatening, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, excessively violent, obscene, defamatory, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate for a school environment.
3. No illegal or harmful material
You will not use Synivis to promote illegal activity, facilitate harm, distribute malicious software, or provide content that violates applicable laws or school policies.
4. Student privacy
You will not place unnecessary personal, sensitive, or confidential student information in assignments, announcements, exams, resources, shoutouts, or other content. You are responsible for following your school or district's student privacy requirements.
5. Rights to content
You will only submit content, links, documents, or other materials that you are authorized to use or share and that do not infringe another person's intellectual property or other rights.
6. Respectful interaction
Shoutouts and other communications must be appropriate, constructive, and respectful. Synivis may not be used to bully, embarrass, intimidate, target, or demean a student or other person.
7. Moderation and reporting
Content or activity that violates these terms may be reported, reviewed, restricted, or removed. Access to Synivis may also be limited or suspended when necessary to address misuse or protect users.
8. Responsibility for submitted content
You are responsible for the classroom content you create or update through your teacher account.
Changes to these terms
Praxobyte, LLC may update these terms and acceptable use policy when Synivis features, school-use requirements, safety practices, or legal requirements change. When a new version requires renewed acceptance, teachers may be asked to review and accept the updated terms before creating or updating classroom content.
